My Fellow VAs,

My journey with The Coaches Console began as an interested virtual assistant in support of coaching professionals. One of my first coach clients used The Coaches Console and was gracious enough to let me ‘play’ with it. Of course, I "played" with it on my own time and had so much fun, that I started to attend every Tuesday@ 2 call I could. I found those calls to be so informative, and I loved being able to ask a live person questions. After a while, Melinda got to know me as the inquisitive virtual assistant, always present and ready to contribute. I was even one of the first VAs certified in 2007, I believe. Then in 2009, something amazing happened.

Melinda called and asked if I would be interested in redesigning the VA Certification Program with her! After I pulled myself off the floor, I gave her a resounding "Yes". We set to work and created the Certified VA Boot Camp and the Certified VA Team. Since May 2009, we’ve certified 15 virtual assistants and served over 100 members of The Coaches Console through the Certified VA Team.

In November 2009, The Coaches Console launched a new release with state-of-the-art functionality and presence. Since then, our membership has grown which means there are more coaches using the system without a VA. Since we know how valuable our certification is, we want to be sure that more VAs can participate. So, we have revamped our original Certification Program to include two levels: Novice and Master.  The Novice Certification takes only four weeks, whereas the Master Certification takes eight weeks.

Each month, we will be hosting a FREE Information Call for all VAs and Coaches who want to know more. We will be sharing the new structure of the programs, what benefits are gained by certification, and let you hear from our current Certified VA Team. What is The Coaches Console? An integrated business management system designed by coaches for coaches, but most service professionals (authors, trainers, speakers, VAs) also find it beneficial.

How does The Coaches Console work? Members of The Coaches Console pay either a monthly or annual fee for access to the system. Each member has his own console to customize and use in his business or practice.

Members save time and money by working on their own or with a VA in performing all these tasks within the Console:

• create an online web presence as a standalone site or integrated into an existing site
• manage individual prospect and client information,
• record and share notes from client meetings,
• create and manage groups of clients,
• send email communications to all prospects and active clients,
• brand all messaging with company logo and colors,
• add images and video clips to website pages,
• perform all invoicing and payment processing in one area,
• share resources and documents with clients,
• schedule appointments, reminders, and to do lists
• give access to clients to schedule or reschedule appointments,
• synchronize calendar with iPhone or Outlook, and much more.

Why should you want to be certified? Most VAs aren’t skilled at using The Coaches Console, so they can’t adequately support their coach. As I mentioned, with our membership growth, there are more coaches needing quality VA support. By certifying through our VA Boot Camp Certification Programs, you will increase your comfort level, confidence, and value in working with coaches.

What topics are covered in the VA Boot Camp Certification Programs?

What is the cost? The information call is free. However, if after the call you decide to join us, then the Novice Certification program is $169 and the Master Certification program is $339.

When will the VA Boot Camp Certification Programs begin?

The Novice Certification will be held for 4 weeks on Wednesdays from 3:00 -4:30 PM Eastern (2:00 PM Central, 1:00 PM Mountain, and 12:00 PM Pacific). These are the two groups scheduled for 2010. May 19 – June 9, 2010 August 11 – September 1, 2010

 

The Master Certification will be held for 8 weeks on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:30 PM Eastern (4:00 PM Central, 3:00 PM Mountain, and 2:00 PM Pacific). These are the two groups scheduled for 2010. June 16 – August 4, 2010 September 8 – October 27, 2010

Each participant will receive a complimentary student console to use for assignments, which could be transferred over into a paid console after certification.

What are the benefits of getting certified?

Novice Certification can be redeemed towards your Master Certification at a later date. If you take the Master Certification in 2010, you will get a discounted fee.

 

Master Certification includes a marketing logo with rights for you to use it on your website and collateral materials. Only those with Master Certification are eligible to work on the Certified VA Team as space opens up. You must also be a full-time VA to qualify for the Team.
